“It’s a nice place with tons of outdoor space and lots of water toys to use. along the shore, which was great for swimming and staying out of boat traffic. There are 2 bedrooms, one has a window AC unit and keeps the room nice and cold, however the 2nd bedroom has nothing but a ceiling fan to cool it. If the door was closed to that bedroom it got very hot at night. Other than that it’s a great place to stay and the owner is very accommodating! We enjoyed our stay. ”

List of issues and inconveniences include: communication with the host was unreliable, a horrible smell the whole stay and asked to check it out but no one to assist on the weekend, hot water tank not plugged in, and toilet seat was falling off. The place was listed as brand new and I want to believe it was but a few things made me question that. Our sheets in one of the bunks were very rough and not soft. The living room with one television could have used another small sofa...

“We have never stayed in a houseboat before and this experience was great! The accommodations were clean and well stocked. We were within walking distance of the marina & less than 10 miles away from the nearest grocery. Best part is that we were able to dock our boat right up to the houseboat. We would absolutely stay again. The cons, if your a Verizon customer you pretty much have NO Service.”
