Nice balcony view. Nice people all around us. However, the condo wasn’t clean at all. Shampoo, soap bottles were empty. The couch and love seat were very stained and stunk. Shower curtain had mold on it. Rugs felt very nasty to walk on.

The condo itself is great--very spacious, good size balcony, great view, large kitchen. But all of the prior reviews about the living room furniture are true, and the photos do not reflect the true condition. Actually the sofa is not quite as bad as the chairs--there is a very old looking brown chair that has the seams showing. But the real eyesore is this chair and ottoman that is so stained I couldn't tell what the original color was (yellow? green?). Whether the furniture was actually clean or not, that chair and ottoman make the whole room look unclean--so much so that my husband went to Target to get cheap bedsheets to put over them before he would sit on them. The same is true for the cushions on the balcony. Everything else was great or at least okay. While it didn't ruin our trip, the quality was not up to the amount of money we paid nor what we have experienced at other Orange Beach condos (we go every year). Also, we were offered a late checkout - which we accepted, but then got locked out of the condo a full hour and a half before our checkout time. There was no one on the premises to help and we finally got someone from Vacasa on the phone who was able to get us back in. I would not stay here again.

The condo was in major need of updating…the paint on the walls was unfinished and looked horrible. The furniture in living room is very old & dirty. The beds were like sleeping on the floor and pillows were flat. The beds & pillows need to be replaced before people sleep there again. The cleaning crew didn’t even put the right size sheets on the bed in master bedroom and i sent message and they finally brought us another set which at least fit the bed. I come to the beach and stay in condos 3-4 times a year and this has to be the worst I’ve ever stayed in.

The property was well maintained. The security guard on duty was very friendly and informative. I had questions and he had answers. Beautiful view from a very spacious balcony. The unit is s due for some updating. It was very clean. However, the furniture is obviously showing its age. It’s clean but stained from years of use. I saw reviews complaining about the beds. We found the beds to be comfortable and I slept like a baby. I will absolutely stay here again.

Don't stay here

I was shocked at the filthy, stained furniture. The kitchen drawers were so dirty we couldn't use anything until it was washed and we had to go to the store first because they provided no dish soap.There was hair and mold in the bathroom. They had twin sheets on a full bed so the sheets only covered half the bed. It was horrible.The extra 2 blankets were moldy and musty. I had to wash them first. There was no hair dryer and no coffee, something even a Motel 6 provides. I saved for a year to stay at a nice condo on the beach. I will NEVER book through this company again. It was shameful.

First time staying here and besides the condo being outdated it had a beautiful balcony view of the beach. The AC worked wonderfully. Showers had hot water. Fresh towels. First floor to the beach was always cleaned and had fans going at all times. The pool is amazing. We had a great time!

Frat House

The confo eas dirty and smelled like mildew . The living room furniture snelled bad and the chair and ottoman were too FILTHY to sit on. All extra blankets snelled like dirty feet and perfume. I had to spend my money for cleaning stuff and my 2st 4 hours of vacation making it liveable, all after a 12 hour drive. I AM FURIOUS!

Amazing anniversary trip

It was a plesant stay. The couch was a bit lumpy and probably needs to be replaced. Beds werw comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the view was amazing. We have already booked the same placw for next year!

Great location and price

The condo is located in a great location near shopping, restaurants, and just minutes from the beach. It’s beachside so you have an amazing view. As far as the condo itself, it’s nice. It’s a little dated but that didn’t bother us. The only issues were the noisy and wobbly ceiling fan in the guest room. The owners had a box fan in the master so we moved it in there to help the girls. The ac didn’t seem to push a lot of cold air in the guest room but we adjusted the temp and the girls managed fine. There’s not much for food storage so you might want to bring some or a box of ziplocks. The small table in the kitchen seemed a little odd and out of place since there is a nice dining room table. It’s not very noisy but you can hear people walking above and when they flush the toilet. Still not a deal breaker for us. My family and I would happily stay here again without hesitation.

Floors were dirty. The furniture was disgusting. You can’t sit on couch without falling in. The few things in kitchen didn’t work or were on the top shelf with no step ladder. The overhead lights in den and master didn’t work. Pull chains were to high for me to reach. Master bath needs a slip proof mat. I slipped twice and have bruises to prove it. The thermostat cannot be adjusted. The kitchen light didn’t work properly. The master bdrm slider wouldn’t open. The pictures for this unit are not accurate. The furniture looks ancient and was stained. The outside furniture was worse. The cushions were mildewed. This was a most unpleasant stay.

Needs a complete overhaul/Don't Recommend

I would not recommend this condo, but The Palms as a whole was nice. There is not one thing in this condo that is not dirty/stained/needs replaced. EVERYTHING! This is the first time I felt inclined to leave a review. Upon arrival the floors were so sticky (had to go to store to buy cleaning supplies) and my daughter's socks were instantly black. The furniture in the living room was so dirty/stained that we used the extra sheets to cover them so we didn't have to sit on them. My daughter went into the guest room and found a half eaten cookie and ketchup packs. Carpet was gross. The outdoor furniture was rundown or broken. I could go on and on about how rundown this condo is, but not enough space. I understand the owner may not want to invest in the property because others are not respectful of the furnishings, but you need to take a little pride in what you own. The only thing nice about the condo is that is on the beach, the Palms as a whole is nice, and the stove/refrigerator was newer. Otherwise, nothing positive. Renters beware.
