“What a nice quiet getaway tucked away in the woods. Those stairs inside can be a killer if you have joint problems so beware. There was a notebook on the counter with instructions and wifi password. It said to keep things wiped up to keep pest away, well being from the North I kept dishes done and counter wiped just forgot the flat of cinnamon buns and apple fritters. It was fine the first few days then they mowed the grass when I came back from a family function the counter was black with ants……

“My realtor said get out of my home for the weekend showings, so I did. This is where I landed. The place was exactly as you see in the pictures. Welcoming, bright & freshly decorated. I was a bit apprehensive from a few of the reviews I’d read. Let me say there were no bugs in this flat. The house does have a very steep terrain in the back a bit, but nothing that could not be walked from the car to the unit in the back where we stayed. The hubs is in dementia & unsteady on his feet. He made out……

“We loved everything about this cabin! Location, cleanliness, well stocked, and comfortable beds. The photos don’t do it justice and the communication with the owners was 5 stars as well. You can tell that the owners truly care about this property as it is well maintained. I highly recommend this cabin and we will be back!”

“The host was phenomenal. The house is absolutely amazing and better than advertised. Everything was clean and beds slept wonderfully. Plenty of space and everything is set up perfectly. Indoor and outdoor space with plenty of comfortable seating was great. Bathrooms were spacious and spotless. Loved it!!!!”

“This is a great property! The house had everything we needed to enjoy our short stay. We did notice some bugs inside the house, but it’s on a lake in the woods — we figure that’s to be expected! The trail down to the dock is also decently steep, which was a challenge for one member of our party, but the trail is well-maintained and a rope is provided as a handrail. I share these notes not as complaints, because we really enjoyed our stay, but more so as information that may help another guest.……

I was concerned about the drive up to the house as it is a dirt/ gravel road and bumpy in some spots but we were able to make it with no problems with our small sedan. Host was quick to reply when we had some questions. We only stayed one night but wish we could’ve stayed for longer!”

“This is a very sweet cabin set off in the woods yet not far from Dahlonega and all it has to offer. We enjoyed the cabin, especially the screen porch. All details of the cabin are as described. This is a very cozy and comfortable place to stay!”
