“The house was beautiful with wonderful sea views and very well kept and homely. Quality room. Location was mixed as very close to the blowhole attraction, one small Beach with coral and over longer bay with quiet waves; however it's a long way from a supermarket, bus stop or restaurant and up some rocky steps uphill which was difficult for my partner who was using crutches. We enjoyed the food cooked by our host who was lovely but did not speak great English, and so there was confusion over...

“Amazing stay at Anantara in Tangalle. Staff is helpful and welcoming. Especially Piyal our butler who made every effort to make our stay and unforgettable one. Rooms are spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom with a nice rain shower. The bed is really comfortable. Restaurants at the resort are good, we really enjoyed the Italian restaurant Il Mare (Risottos are delicious)”

“Fantastiske søde mennesker der arbejder på hotellet, beliggende på den anden side af vejen til stranden. Vi havde ofte poolen for os selv. Der var dejlig stille og roligt. Og så har de den sødeste hund lassie. Helt klart værd at besøge, hvis man ønsker ro og fred og en lækker pool. Maden smagte også rigtig godt. Hvis man ønsker byliv og aktiviteter hele tiden er dette ikke stedet. ”

“We loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you can’t swim there because of the rocks, but it’s great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big)....

“Jeg hadde forhåndsbooket én natt, men endte opp med å bli der i syv netter! Stortrivdes! Stedet drives av to voksne brødre, med foreldrene også daglig tilstede. De er veldig hyggelige, avslappede og serviceinnstilte! Hotellet ligger 100 meter fra stranda, og har store romsligere lokaler utendørs, for både avslapning og måltider. På kveldstid er det ekstra god stemning med behagelig musikk og lys rundt trær også stolper! Stranda er endeløs lang, og nesten folketom. Så er du kun ute...
