“We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. Housekeeping was daily and maids were very friendly. As mentioned previously, it is a steep hill up to the apartments but we found it walkable....

“Fantastic apartment with good soundproofing / adherance to quiet hours. This is not a hotel; during your stay you are responsible for keeping your space clean. Our room was sparkling upon arrival, with a gorgeous view of the mountain across from us. Our host was very considerate and even let us try some of her homemade wine. The apartments were walking distance from several phenomenal restaurants. The beach I would not recommend walking to. The distance is small but the incline is massive....

“Llegamos tarde por un problema con el coche de alquiler y allí nos estaba esperando el dueño, nos enseñó la habitación y nos informó de lo que podíamos visitar. La habitación es grande y espaciosa y tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días agradables, todo está muy limpio y cuidado. La ubicación es excelente, tienes un supermercado a pocos metros y puedes cruzar a Argostoli a través de un puente. Muchas gracias por tratarnos tan bien. Si volvemos repetiremos sin duda.”

“We arrived after 7pm and the owner was there to greet us. Everyday she also gave us suggestions where to go and inquired if we need anything. This is a locally run family business. Without even asking, the owner provided us with a beach umbrella and an extra beach towel for use during our stay. She is so accommodating and helpful. The room is well-maintained and exactly as pictured online. We had a beautiful view of the mountain with a private balcony and a clothesline. The beds are very...
