The property was very comfortable and clean with a well equipped kitchen. As we came in June, it was very relaxing to go to sleep with the windows open and the water lapping at the shore and the occasional boat puttering by. While the neighborhood is exceptionally quiet, I would suggest earplugs if you are a light sleeper as there were a handful of boats that head out at dawn or shortly after. We enjoyed both the front and back porches but the views from the back were really enjoyable. We were sorry we didn’t bring binoculars to watch the birds and boats. Don’t miss the beach walk; I suggest walking behind the hotel, to the point and then down to the beach when the tide is out. The community is small with only two restaurants, gas, bank and a convenience store so make sure you come prepared. The location was great for our trips to Bremerton, to see friends in Port Orchard, and to eat oysters on the Hood Canal. We would definitely stay here again!
