"Most of the staff members were great housekeeping was iffy. Some days the room was cleaned and tidied some days nothing much was done and the bed was not made. Fairly quiet shops around but they have odd opening and closing times. Great restaurant attached to the hotel open for lunch and dinner you can get room service from there to your room which is great affordable and delicious. Hotel breakfast was good nice coffee tea pastries fruit eggs etc. We felt safe and loved the ability to walk around easily. Would stay again. "
"A really great stay. A very friendly welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great value. Although you had to pay for the car park it was very secure and off the street. It is brilliantly close to the centre of Metz which we thought was a great city. It is a great stopover if you are travelling to Italy or beyond."

The staff were very welcoming and pointed us in the direction of the nearest restaurants and shops after a very long day travelling. Walked around the grounds and it was amazing.. To the spiral staircases, to the gardens to the violin playing over the speakers.
Room was spacious and the bed super comfortable.
The only neutral-negative comment would be the breakfast. It cost 15Euros which is fine. In fact it could easily be baked into the cost of the room and I wouldn't bat an eye since the stay itself it great value. The breakfast doesn't live up the magnificence of the rest of the hotel. "
"The Novotel in Metz was one of the more expensive hotels we have stayed in on our European tour. It is not as classy as we had expected and the decor in the room was dated especially the textured white walls. The plugs in both the sink and shower did not drain well and smelt.
The bed was comfortable and pillows fluffy. There is an outside pool but it is very busy with children and not very big.
The price of the hotel was not reflected in the stay. The underground parking is shared and smells like a public toilet, payable at the time of leaving."
