Car Rental Jining District

There's so much to do in Jining District, but head farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Organize a set of wheels and you can meander around the greater area at your own pace. Add these fantastic drives to your itinerary:

• Head off to Datong for an excellent sightseeing experience. Approximately 85 miles from Jining District, it's home to tons of great sights such as Yungang Grottoes.
• Why not enjoy everything on offer in Zhangjiakou too? Notable tourist attractions in this colorful city include Wanlong Ski Area. Zhangjiakou is around 100 miles from Jining District.
• Make tracks to Summer Palace to discover some local nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just relax and unwind. From Jining District, it's about 180 miles away.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in China, then you may need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. It's also important to note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your current license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or over in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the rules and regulations before sliding behind the wheel. With rental cars, you usually can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with your rental car.
