There are lots of things to see and do in El Cerro, but venture farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Grab a set of wheels and you can explore the greater area at your own speed. Add these awesome drives to your to-do list:

• Head to San José for a fun-filled sightseeing experience. Approximately 35 miles from El Cerro, it has tons of great sights, including National Museum of Costa Rica.
• Why not enjoy all that's on offer in Liberia too? Popular attractions in this buzzing city include Liberia Parque Central. Liberia is roughly 120 miles from El Cerro.
