Car Rental Knuckey Lagoon

Once you've visited all of the amazing places in Knuckey Lagoon, there's loads more to see in the surrounding area. Grab the keys to a rental car, toss your bags in the trunk and get on the road. Here are some road trips we're confident you'll love:

• Head off to Kakadu for an excellent sightseeing adventure. Approximately 110 miles from Knuckey Lagoon, it's home to numerous cool sights, including Yellow Water Billabong.
• Next stop? It has to be Point Stuart, which is around 55 miles away. Mary River National Park is one local draw card you shouldn't miss.
• Venture into the great outdoors and take in the serenity at Nitmiluk National Park. It's 160 miles from Knuckey Lagoon.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Australia, then you'll likely need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be able to rent a car. Also consider that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll need to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be 25 or over in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the fine print before you drive off the lot. You typically can't cross country borders, drive on ferries or go off-roading with a rental car.
