Car Rental Palenque

Palenque has plenty to keep you busy, but don't restrict yourself to only one place. Rent some wheels and head off to discover what else awaits in the surrounding area. Here are a few ideas:

• Head to Guanajuato for a fantastic sightseeing experience. Around 65 miles from Palenque, it's home to tons of amazing sights such as Juarez Theater.
• Next stop? It has to be Mexico City, which is around 110 miles away. Zócalo is one local draw card you really shouldn't miss.
• La Ropa Beach is located 220 miles from Palenque and is one of the region's most gorgeous nature spots. Go for a wander around and enjoy the fresh air.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Mexico, then it's likely you'll need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be allowed to rent a car. It's also important to note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll be asked to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some additional requirements to rent a car internationally are:
