Car Rental Sector 15

There's so much to do in Sector 15, but head farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Arrange a set of wheels and you can discover the greater area at your own pace. Add these awesome drives to your itinerary:

• Head off to Haridwar for a fantastic sightseeing adventure. Roughly 100 miles from Sector 15, it has tons of cool attractions like Har Ki Pauri.
• Approximately 35 miles away, Shimla District is also a hit with travelers. Set aside time to get to Mall Road while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love this colorful city.
• Make tracks to Lodhi Garden to rediscover nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just sit and unwind. From Sector 15, it's roughly 150 miles away.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in India, then you'll likely need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your current license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be at least 25 in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the fine print before sliding behind the wheel. Usually, you can't cross country borders, drive on ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with a rental vehicle.
