Car Rental Shanzu

Shanzu is full of fun adventures, but don't restrict yourself to just the one place. Book a set of wheels and hit the road to explore the wider region. Here are some great options we've come up with:

• Head to Malindi for a fantastic sightseeing experience. Approximately 60 miles from Shanzu, it's home to many inspiring sights, including Malindi Beach.
• Your next stop? Watamu, which is around 45 miles away. Watamu Beach is one local draw card you won't want to miss.
• Make tracks to Amboseli National Park to rediscover nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just relax in the fresh air. From Shanzu, it's 190 miles away.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Kenya, then you'll likely need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. Also consider that if an IDP is required, it won't be valid on its own. You'll need to show your current license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some added requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be 25 or over in most places to rent a car. If you're younger, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to what kinds of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the fine print before getting behind the wheel. With rental cars, you usually can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on off-road areas with your rental car.
