Car Rental Shuiquan

After you've checked out all of the amazing attractions in Shuiquan, there's a lot more to see in the surrounding area. Grab the keys to a rental car, pack your bags in the trunk and get on the road. These are some road trips we know you'll love:

• Kaohsiung is around 55 miles from Shuiquan. Famous attractions like Lotus Pond deserve to be at the top of your list while you're in town.
• Your next pit stop? It has to be Tainan, which is around 85 miles away. Chihkan Tower is one local draw card you shouldn't miss.
• Spend time in nature and breathe in some fresh air at Taroko National Park. You'll find it approximately 160 miles from Shuiquan.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Taiwan, then you'll likely need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. You should also be aware that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other requirements to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You must be at least 25 in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the fine print before getting behind the wheel. With rental cars, you usually can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on off-road areas with a rental vehicle.
