There's so much to do in Thonglor, but head farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Grab a set of wheels and you can meander around the surrounding area at your own speed. Add these awesome places to your travel schedule:

• Make your way to Pattaya for a fantastic sightseeing experience. Around 60 miles from Thonglor, it's home to lots of cool sights like Buddha Mountain.
• Your next pit stop? Make it Hua Hin, which is around 90 miles away. Hua Hin Railway Station is one local hot spot you won't want to miss.
• Get out into nature and inhale the fresh air at Klong Plu Waterfall. It's approximately 160 miles from Thonglor.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Thailand, then you may need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. You should also be aware that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own.
