“The Landlord (better Landlady) has been very friendly and extremly helpful! We were sure to find the way to that house very easy with google-navy. BUT the Landlady wrote us before starting a better way to reach "The Fold" without problems. With her help we really arrived without problems. Sometimes we trusted google-navy- and suddenly we found ourselves in the darkness in between 20 sheeps in a very small briddleway. Better not to use google!!! “We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together”

“The Old Brewery is im the beautiful medieval market town of Richmond. There are numerous walks in the area, several delightful pubs amd restaurants, and it is a great base for exploring North Yorkshire. The property itself, though, needs some work. The kitchen and dining room are beautiful. The living rooms are extremely comfortable (with the exception of one chair). The bedrooms and bathrooms each have their quirks and drawbacks. We had to repair one bed during our stay. Several doorknobs were...

“Butterfly cottage is perfect for 2 people, we even took our pooch and had some lovely walks around the area. Stanhope is 10 mins away and Barnard Castle 30 mins.. great for runs out. Some nice local shops and cafes. Would deffo return.”

“cottage well equipped & tastefully furnished, very cozy & comfy with a lovely view over sheep pasture. although we felt tucked away we enjoyed pubs and cafes in walking distance.”

“Nice property, clean and had sky tv. Only problem was it was so cold, heating worked but radiators too small to heat the ground floor, ended up buying 2 blower heaters from morrissons. Stay with us (agent for property) didn't help us just said no one else had complained (I think they had worked for the post office). Surprised if nobody had mentioned it before as the temperature struggled to get to 16 degrees until we got the heaters (uk government recomend a min of 18.”
