This hotel recently joined a new hotel group and is about to undergo a major refresh, which it definitely needs. My room looked sad -- no art on the walls, dull and dated decor, broken window shades, bathroom very clean but also dated. The restaurant and bar are closed on Sunday, so there were no amenities available when I stayed there on a Sunday. The continental breakfast was unacceptable -- very small selection of sad looking pastries that looked like they came from the supermarket and hot water for tea that was not hot at all. And the dining area was almost dark. On the positive side, the person at the front desk was extremely helpful when we checked in and accommodated our surprise request to check in early.

Absolutely stunning property! The only small hiccups were that there wasn’t someone actually stationed at the front desk at all times. Anytime I passed or went up to it, they were doing other things (work related like down at the door or elevator) that took them away from it. So I would stand around looking like hello anyone here? I know this is their first summer open, we went to the pool and at around 4pm is when they finally staffed it for drinks and food. I think for the summer time, there should always be someone staffed regardless if it’s a weekend or not. Everything was very clean, very quiet and more adults around than kids.

The elevator was out of order and we senior citizens were on the second floor; the downstairs bathroom adjacent to the lobby women's room: lock requires fixing. The continental breakfast: 4 on a 10 scale

We had a lovely stay! The property is gorgeous, and the views are absolutely stunning. While our overall experience was positive and we would happily return, we did notice a few areas for improvement. First, the breakfast felt overpriced for the options provided, and we noticed some trash left in common areas that wasn't cleared for a couple of hours, which made us wonder if the team was short-staffed. Additionally, since resort guests often look for diverse culinary experiences, we'd love to see the breakfast and dinner menus expanded in the future.

Mattresses in the room we stayed in hurt my back. When you first lay down, they feel great! As my weight compressed the mattress through the night, I could feel the metal platform base in my back. A box spring or a firm flat surface between the mattress and the frame would improve it. The mattress seemed good, just not meant for a metal frame with nothing between the frame and the mattress. Thanks!
