I'll start by saying that because this property seems to be ran by a management company, my issues are primarily with their services. We did not receive any check in information. I messaged the "owner" on the app letting them know we were on their way and would like the info. We received no response. Check in was 4:00. We arrived at 4:05 and still nothing. Had to message multiple times and ultimately call the company to get the key code. The cleaning was sub par, as there were crumbs all over the counters. There was no welcome information anywhere to be found, and no wifi instructions. We messaged that evening about wifi, was told we would be called and never were. I messaged again and received no response. We got an explanation that the DSL is very sensitive due to weather. Seriously?! No TV or movie night because of it, and in addition the listing mentioned DVD's, which there were none. Also no board games. A mixed box of lincoln logs that were all a mess. The heating. Wow! There was one small wall unit that did basically nothing. There is a wood burning stove, but no wood and no mention that we should provide our own. The blankets in the house were thin (and stained, ew!), so the first night was freezing and miserable. We got wood the next night and it heated the place nicely. But knowing the capabilities of that "heater", it really needs to be mentioned in the listing as that can get unsafe for people really quickly. It was a cold and rainy weekend for our visit. I would never stay at this house again, and will be avoiding the management company as well.
