“This place is a bit further out from Pisa, but we still had a really nice stay and made the most of it. It’s great value for money, which was a big plus. The hotel itself is a little old-fashioned, but honestly, the staff more than made up for it—they were super friendly and welcoming the whole time. The restaurant was also a highlight, with really tasty food that we enjoyed a lot. It’s a good spot if you’ve got a car and want to explore the nearby villages and surrounding area.”

It was a perfect location arriving back each evening to enjoy the pool and relax on the beautiful Tuscan countryside. “The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. “We stayed in the Lavender suite, which was a large room with high ceilings and the view from the windows was beautiful. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was good. There was no kettle in the room but there is a kitchen where we were able to make a cuppa and we had a fridge for water etc. The property is right next to the main anfiteatro but the room was quiet. We woke to birds tweeting in the morning. Oh, and there is a very cute, snoring dog!”
