Do not recommend!! Home on the Range is a pretty home with some great amenities for a big group, but we had a recurring issue that really ruined our stay. We came home from an errand in town about 24 hours after we checked in, and there was no running water in the house. Toilets wouldn't flush, sinks and showers wouldn't turn on. We contacted the Vacasa folks immediately for assistance, and were told that local property management would be in touch. It was almost 20 hours before we heard anything. In those 20 hours we contacted every water/utilities company in the Santa Fe area at their emergency numbers (this was after normal business hours, on a holiday weekend) all of whom told us "we don't service that area." Nobody could tell us who to call, or how to restore running water to the home. We eventually had to leave the house to use the bathrooms at a coffee shop. We continued to call Vacasa (the phone number routes you to a call center, nowhere near New Mexico), who noted that our emergency issue was still in the queue, but no one contacted us with any assistance. We checked the listing several times for other phone numbers to call, but no luck. Finally, on one of these desperate web searches, we saw a new Notice on the listing that cautioned renters to be advised about the faulty water pump on the property. This Notice was not posted on the listing when we booked. It must have been posted sometime after we had been given our check in instructions, and the message was not r
