Perfect location- very walkable to restaurants, parks & bars. I was worried about parking but there was plenty of metered parking close-by. Comfortable beds & very nice finishes. We would absolutely stay there again!

Awesome

The Blue Door Retreat was beautiful. It was spacious while still feeling cozy. It was appointed will all the amenities that you would need. The location was perfect. Walkable to everything. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Savannah.

Perfect Choice

We stayed for a friends weekend with 3 couples total. The location is perfect and we had plenty of space. It was very comfortable. It was super clean and well stocked with necessities. We would definitely return.

Perfect Spot!

We had three couples stay in the Blue Door condo. First, it's a cool old building and that's what we're here for. Unit was clean and just as described. Communication with the property manager was easy and quick with text. There was plenty of space for us to gather in the great room. Bathrooms clean and toiletries provided. Kitchen fully stocked. Beds were comfortable but we all found the couch, barstools and dining chairs not so comfortable and the coffee table rug could use a steam clean. Location couldn't be more perfect! Smack in the middle of it all, easy to walk to anything within 10min. Parking is street or garage. That's a city thing not the fault of the property. Garages within a couple minute walk. We would stay here again and do plan to come back because there is so much to see! Great unit, didn't disappoint!

Location, location, location!

Great location making it easy to walk to restaurants and places of interest. Apartment was great for 3 couples. Bed in one room is very uncomfortable (like a sofa sleeper bed) and gate keypad didn’t always work. Not sure the furnace works. Property manager was very helpful.

Short stay in Savannah

Five adults and two dogs spent a couple of nights at this property. It was pretty ideal. The location was great and walking distance to Forsyth Park, the entire historic area and the river. The three bedrooms were well sized in the kitchen. Was great for cooking a group dinner..

Great Location

This was an adorable home with king size beds and a great kitchen/family room for hanging out with everyone. The location was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Very nice stay.

Best location

The house was super clean, in the most perfect location. No issues with getting in or out. Found street parking right outside, was easy to renew via the app. Did not even need the car because we walked everywhere. The perfect getaway.

Great place and location-a couple of issues

First--Lucky Savannah was fantastic. Responsive and lovely people. The apartment was great, too as was the neighborhood. Issue 1: the stairs up and down to the entry from the street level REALLY need have a hand railing. Steps are of varied height, steep overall and nothing to hold onto. It also would be helpful if the bathroosn had towel racks instead of hooks. Takes a long time to dry with just hooks. No place to hang a wet washcloth.

Nice weekend in Savannah

It was a perfect location. We loved the city and looking forward to visit again. One suggestion is for a handrail to hold while maneuvering the steps.

Nice Location

Overall the place was very clean. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were really nice. The only downside was its sublevel. I guess I should have known from the pictures. Walking distance to all the things in Savannah.

This location is amazing! Everything was walking distance and if not we took a 3 min Uber ride to get there. This place was in the center of it all and it was wonderful! Definitely recommend it !!

Beds were amazingly comfortable. Space was immaculate and just what the 3 of us needed to have perfect combination of privacy and communal space plus walking access to nearly everything that we did during our time in Savannah. Loved it.

Charming and Great Location

Charming property in an excellent location. Everywhere was walking distance. Very clean, easy access and check in/out. Only complaint was there was a smoke alarm chirping somewhere and we couldn’t locate it. Property manager never responded when we reached out about it. At least we couldn’t hear it in the bedrooms.

Savannah Thanksgiving

Comfy, cozy ground level apartment. Fully stocked kitchen allowed us to prepare a great Thanksgiving meal. Excellent location for walking everywhere. Convenient pay to park lot behind building. Front bedroom gets road noise as it fronts Whitaker. Pick a back bedroom if you are a light sleeper.

Girls trip

The description says “ground floor” however we found it more of a basement, including the musty odor. After mentioning it to Lucky (who said “it’s a basement in a 200 yr old building”) sent people to check it out and didn’t find it offensive and offered us the only place they said they had available which was apartment above a bar. We declined. Considered the company not overly accommodating. The street level gate didn’t lock. Opened with a good shove. On the positive side: Comfortable beds Lovely kitchen Interesting architecture Perfect location for us-neighborhood felt safe Check in and check out easy

Perfect location and size for our family!

We loved staying here. it was the perfect size for our family of 4 adults, 1 teenager, and our dog. Great location in the heart of everything in Savannah, nicely appointed, very clean, great kitchen!

Best place in Savannah

I have nothing but good things to say. Beautiful, roomy, and comfy place. Safe area, close to shops and places to eat. Master Shower is amazing. Super clean, and the ds were perfect. Plenty of room for clothing to be put away. Parking is a little rough only due to the price to park. Best bet is try to get front parking and pay for 8am-8pm, or go about 2 blocks to the parking garage. Parking all over Savannah is costly so just be prepared, the state controls that. I would recommend this place to anyone if all ages. Pet friendly too, great parks to walk your dogs.
