Very nice cabin, was quite an enjoyable time. Secluded at a dead end which was nice. We came for mine and my ither in laws birthday to she was very happy. Told everyone how nice the place was.

This home felt like home! I was a kid again spending the summers in the NC mountains with my grandparents. Cathy was fantastic with communication and the place was more than I was expecting. My husband, our 3 teen boys, and my father fit perfectly with room for more. The house is decorated so lovely in a farm theme with all the amenities you could want. The kids loved the Ms Pac Man game. It got a lot of use. Sitting on the screened porch during the rain and hearing the creek rush was so relaxing. We also very much loved sitting outside at night in the hot tub. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your cabin. We look forward to returning and trying another one next time!!

Another great stay. Comfortable beds, dog friendly, privacy, walk to the pool, very relaxing and great distance from the attractions. Only thing I'd say needs done is trimming the overgrowth away from the house and the sides of the driveway

Our Experience at Shagbark

Not sure where to start.Pros: nice layout; large bedrooms and living room. Cons: home needs deep clean; mold in master tiny shower; dirty floors & fans; stove top burners not clean; screen porch had not been cleaned/swept for weeks, fire pit chairs were tangled with kudzu vines. Area around firebox hadn’t been swept-had wood chips and stuff on the floor surrounding (pets could get into that). We had trouble getting into the house after dark because we couldn’t look up the code due to no phone service there. Owner mentions there is WiFi but your cell phone must have WiFi phone service or you can’t make calls.There was what looked like spaghetti sauce splattered on dining room wall. Master bath is very tiny and the shower was so gross the 4 of us shared the hall bath. I began sweeping the screen porch and after 20 minutes I stopped because that wasn’t what I wanted to be doing on vacation after paying a cleaning fee.The front door has an outside light but wasn’t working. Most rooms have ceiling fans but many chains missing or just have 1 which makes it difficult to turn just the fan on or just the light. We cooked 1 meal but stove top & burners had caked on food. I’m not a big germaphobe nor is my own home spotless but this was ridiculous. The 2nd day we called owner & left VM to call us as “we had some issues to discuss” but no response. Sent message thru VRBO 3days later, again no response. Several reviews stated she was great at communication but we didn't experience it.

Exceeded expectations

We were not prepared for how beautiful the property was! Very close to the pool and you can sit on the porch and hear the river-major bonuses. Communication was the best I’ve ever experienced using vrbo. We will come again soon!

Home Away from Home

We loved our stay at Clearfork Farm! The cabin was so cozy and comfortable - we stayed during the intense heat wave and we were still super cool, especially at night. Our favorite part was the screened in porch where we sat every morning drinking our coffee (thanks to the Keurig ). We had plenty of room for our family of 4 and our dog. This house is on the top of our list of favorite places to stay in Pigeon Forge!

New Year stay

We were very happy with our stay! Ms. Cathy was very quick to respond and was even accommodating to our early arrival. Check out duties were easy even in the wee hours of the morning.Thank you for such a comfy stay, we will be back!

Great getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Clear Fork very much! Perfect little getaway with our family. Close to the tourist attractions but far enough away for the peace and quiet with beauty all around.

Great Trip with Friends!

We had a wonderful stay here with our friends and pups! Lots of great hiking and creek splashing with the dogs and we were located super close to lots of the attractions and places we visited during our trip. The cabin was clean and beautiful and a perfect place to stay (and get engaged!).

Family Getaway

Pros: *Location (secluded but close enough to drive for activities in town) *3 bedroom/2 bath house for a decent price *hot tub/fire pit/screened porch/2 car car port/dishwasher/gas grill/washer & dryer *pac man game (if you’re into that) Cons: *hot tub is very small (4 very small adults would fit but no more than 2 large/xl adults at one time) *shower heads are so low you have to duck in order to rinse your hair/face. (I’m 5’10 and had to duck in order to use it..I would replace those with hand held ones) *water pressure in showers are horrible *the place was dusty.. cobwebs everywhere inside and out)...looks like the whole house hasn’t been dusted in a very long time… *all propane tanks were empty upon arrival The property manager was easy to communicate with and did return messages and offered to bring full propane tanks (but we declined seeing as how we were checking out next day) and replaced a broken toaster that same day. I give it a total of 3/5 stars and would stay here again. Thank you.

Anniversary Trip

We had great weather the screened in porch was best part of house. My concern is the cabin could have been a little cleaner dust was everywhere stove oven full of grease and stove eyes had grease vacuum cleaner was full to top of clear bin. I think someone needs to be following up on the cleaning crew because i am sure Cathy is paying them good. One thing the cabin was well stocked appreciated the welcome gifts haven't stayed in a cabin that had everything you needed.

Enjoyed our time

We chose this place because there were 3 bedrooms with king size beds! The only complaint i may have had was minor - the ceiling fans needed cleaned. Although it was an older cabin, everything worked well, it was clean (except the fans) & it was cozy! We really enjoyed our stay here. It was so peaceful & relaxing. It was also close to many attractions in the area. I would stay here ahain without hesitation.

THE BEAR!

The gentleman at the gate was rather rude. The unit we stayed in wasn't the easiest to find. Once we found our unit and got inside it was very clean. My wife was happy. Friday I accidentally locked the key inside, So I called Cathy, Cathy came out to open it up for us. My wife and her friend were sitting in the back porch waiting for her and a black bear came up and tried to get in my car. The neighbors up the hill from our place seen it and started bang things together to try to scare the bear. This is one vacation my wife nd her friend will never forget.

Great Stay

The house was exactly as described. It was very clean and we didn’t have any problems while we were there. The host left some snacks and drinks that our kids really enjoyed. Getting to the house was easy and the directions were accurate. Would definitely recommend.

In love!

Property was great, perfect walking to the pool and courts and even to the park to get the dogs some exercise. Beds were super comfy. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Jacuzzi was great. Screened in porch was so relaxing. Getting in touch with Cathy was easy and she was super helpful. Can't wait to come back next year!

Perfect Little Getaway

This place was perfect for us! There was so much to offer to enjoy. For us the hot tub, playground, the creek, and indoor fireplace were our favorites! There was a little hiccup with check-in, but Ms Catherine was super responsive and got it resolved quickly! This place is ideal for families, couples, or even just yourself to get away!
