First of all, I usually do not write reviews for many VRBO stays, but this rental was so exceptional that I feel it deserves one. I am extremely picky about even the small details, and this is the first cabin in the Smokies that I know I definitely want to come back to stay.First of all, the owners of Smoky Mountain Livin' were extremely communicative and full of helpful information to make check-in and our stay extremely smooth! This property is wonderful! It is in a neighborhood, but at the end of the street with a wrap-around porch with the back side facing a forest, so it feels secluded. It is close to town so you don't have to drive forever to get gas/groceries/food/entertainment, but far enough out so that you don't hear any city noises. There are outdoor security cameras that point to the parking area which made me feel like my car was secure. It was also very clean (which is a big deal for a cabin with wood walls and flooring), had plenty of dishes, was stocked with plenty of trash bags, toilet paper, laundry and dish detergent, etc. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back again soon!

Vacation

This was a great vacation spot in the woods om the mountain. Our stay was peaceful and a great veiw of the woods. We also had a black bear checking us out. We definitely recommend this cabin. The owners were wonderful to us.

Smoky Mountain Livin

This is our favorite cabin in Pigeon Forge area. We always return to this cabin. Area is quiet and there is plenty of parking. The cabin is clean and well stocked. It’s spacious and close to shopping and entertainment.

Smoky Mountain Cabin

We looked for a cabin in TN for a vacation and kept coming back to this one. The reviews about the cleanliness are true. It was very clean. Didn't see one bug inside the entire week. The location is perfect. Near everything but not too near. Lanny was very responsive to every question we had. There was not a single issue with the stay. This was our first Vrbo experience. We will be back both to Vrbo and hopefully this cabin.

Beautiful cabin in great location. Wonderful hosts, as well!

Stayed at the cabin for six nights in July and it was a wonderful place. Communication with the hosts was easy and quick. Condition is excellent. Location is good as well. One small thing that I wasn't expecting, and it's neither a "good" or a "bad" necessarily: But the listing gave me the impression that the cabin was more isolated from other cabins than it really is. Again, not that that is a bad thing, just something that I wasn't expecting. You do have several neighbors as the cabin is at the end of a road that is lined with cabins on both sides. That's all. Would definitely stay there again.

Great family memories made

This cabin was everything and more. It is located at the end of the road making it very peaceful. It is right in the middle of everything to do in Pigeon Forge. The home was very clean. We enjoyed all the decorations and signs. My kids loved the arcade table. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was very relaxing at night. The owners responded quickly. The view was exquisite. We enjoyed watching all the trees bloom as we stayed. The scripture on the wall made it feel like home. We will definitely be back and would recommend this home to everyone.

There was 6 of us women who had a long weekend getaway and this cabin was perfect for us! We enjoyed that it’s on the dead end so we had more privacy and the check in was so easy! I definitely will be renting this cabin again!!

Great cabin!

The cabin was perfect for our family of 5. We enjoyed the beautiful craftsmanship and Christmas decorations. There was plenty of kitchenware, space, and awesome amenities and features. We loved that it backed up to the woods and we were able to enjoy the nature, while still being very close to everything Pigeon Forge has to offer. It was the last cabin in the neighborhood, and not as close to neighbors as the other cabins were. The owner was very quick to respond to any trouble we were having and helpful in resolving the issues. They were kind and accommodating. The only thing we didn't like was the feeling of privacy invasion. We were told the day before check-in that there were security cameras around the exterior property and could be watched day and night, that foolishness wouldn't be tolerated. While it is understandable want to keep check on your property, especially living in another state, it felt threatening and as though we were being watched. Though we only spotted a couple cameras viewing the perimeter of the property, with all of the horror stories you hear about renting an AIRB&B with hidden cameras, the warning made us feel uneasy and the owner did not indicate exactly where the cameras were located- therefore we worried whether or not a stranger was watching our children dressed in swim attire enjoy the outdoor hot tub " day and night" as the email had indicated. As originally stated, we understand the necessity of keeping watch over your property, however it should have been made clear where the cameras were located and could have gone without an unnecessary threat. If that information were evident on the listing, we would not have rented the cabin. All in all, great cabin with otherwise friendly and attentive hosts.

Enjoyed our stay!

Great location! Hot tub and game table didn’t work. Owner told jets we’re on order after we contacted him and he was not sure how to get to get the gaming table to display. But cabin was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Mountain Getaway

Our stay at this cabin was amazing. It had everything we needed. It was located at the end of a nice quiet community and had plenty of peaceful privacy while being just a hop skip and a jump to all the excitement Pigeon Forge has to offer. I do suggest guests plan on streaming media on the TVs as channel availability is very minimal. Luckily I packed my own Roku so we were ok but at night and if you have a bad weather day you’ll want your streaming service logins so you have something to watch on TV. There is a DVD player in the living room which was also a little helpful. Overall we had an amazing time! The host was very responsive to the little questions we had when we arrived. Thank you!!!
