While the location of the cabin was 10/10, the cabin could use a little help. The hot tub was unfortunately down while we stayed there and there were cob webs on the windows. There was a mouse running around upstairs at night (which woke us up several times every night). We could not locate where it was coming from. If these things were fixed then we would definitely consider staying here again.

It needs a total, thorough cleaning: old cobwebs on the chimney box, dust layers on baseboard, porch hasn't been scrubbed and swept for a long time. It wasn't anywhere near the cleaning fee. There was a neglected broken chair on the deck. Needs labels on light switches. Broken fan blade on ceiling fan at stairway. Top of fan very dusty. One smoke detector was down without a battery. The oven had a defective door seal and it was very difficult to get the oven up to baking temp. Limited kitchen cookware. Very SMALL showers.

Cabin was BEAUTIFUL… !! Only downside is because you’re so far up the mountain… getting in town is a challenge… suggest you Uber or Lyft

Nice cabin but not clean

House was nice and in a good location. Steep driveway so may want to use trucks/4WD. Everything was nice except the fact that it had not been cleaned well. Dust and cobwebs were everywhere and the carpet in the bedrooms had trash on them where it had not been vacuumed. Showers were very small but doable for short/smaller people. You just can’t bend over in the showers lol. Definitely could be cleaned better. And we seen a bear!

Perfect

We loved this cabin!! We felt secluded, but safe, since it’s in a gated community, and it’s only about ten minutes to town!! We love that all three bedrooms are upstairs, and each one has its own jetted tub, shower, sink, and toilet. The deck was great, with a nice view. The beds were super comfy, but the pillows need to be upgraded. It also needs a new can opener. It’s a great house, I’d stay again!!

Great Cabin

The cabin was as described. Great views of the mountains and the cabin was awesome. Walt was great at communicating and we had no issues. Will definitely return to Moose Manor for another trip to the Smoky Mountains.

Nice cabin

Nice cabin, beautiful views. Needs some updating to appliances and the hot tub is very old. Comfy beds. There is a steep one way road up to the cabin with a steep driveway. The property manager was great and responds quickly to questions.

Perfect chill family getaway

We brought our kids down to Tennessee for a quick spring break getaway and this cabin was perfect! The hot tub and pool table were a hit with the whole family!

Beautiful

The property was absolutely beautiful. We had an amazing stay. We definitely weren't expecting how high up it was. It was a little scary getting to the cabin but most definitely worth it and you get used to after a couple of times lol.

Beautiful and quietness

We loved staying at the moose lodge cabin! Very spacious, beautiful front porch to relax and have a cup of coffee. Walt was very responsive and very helpful. A couple of things I will point out are that for some weird reason there were a lot of lady bugs in the cabin. In the bathtubs in the rooms and even on a bed. Another is that the main bedroom bath tub was leaking to the main floor and I was bummed that we couldn’t use it after 1 time. Other than that, we loved the quietness and how secluded it was from other cabins.

Perfect Cabin for a Family Mountain Getaway

Beautiful cabin! The mountainous views were stunning and the cabin was conveniently located for driving to both Gatlinburg and Cades Cove! Highly recommend!

could be very nice

from outside very beautiful first impression very nice bedrooms are very small toilet rooms and shower are very small I am 6'2" and 280 and could barely move in the shower the beetles were about to take over Windows needed to be washed inside and out very few cooking utensils and kitchen linens were very stingy it could be a very nice place but needs a lot of TLC the very small I am 6'

Moose Manor

We had daily encounters with the local wild black bears, some even came up on the porch which was a little scary but exciting. I would be happy to rent this place again. The biggest downside was the stand up showers are rather small but overall a great place. Thanks for everything Walt
