Shipton under Wychwood Chalets

"Room was clean and just what we needed. Staff were helpful, however when attending for breakfast I was told ‘it’s closing’ rather than just offered a seat, when breakfast was due to be open for another hour. We then also had a small bite in the lounge area the next day, and the food took nearly 40mins. We used the spa facilities, and these are always great. The room was comfy and just as we would expect. It’s the second time we have stayed, and would go back again. "

Easy parking, friendly personable staff, very nice ground floor room, clean, comfortable, quiet, convenient location for walking to several restaurants, good selection of items at breakfast with seating in a natural light filled room. It has more of a Bed and Breakfast than a hotel feel."

"This hotel is comfortable and quiet. About a miles walk from the center of the city, but you have options to walk along the city streets or the Oxford Park paths. Breakfast was good and a decent price and it was nice to have a restaurant on site. The room was very comfortable. It was nice to have a couch in the room that was comfortable and made it easy to get work done. The coffee and tea station was also a nice touch, they refilled with biscuits every day too! We were very comfortable!"
