Siho Playa is a quaint and secluded beach area far away from the bustle of city life. The sandy strand lies in utter tranquility, offering views of fishermen and their vessels. Rent kayaks from under the thatched roofs of the huts dotted around this beach.
The beach itself is more about charm and seclusion than luxury. Clamber over the clumpy sand and find a hilltop spot to enjoy the view. Bring food for a picnic and snap photos of the jagged coastline, with its dry grassy hill. Discover intriguing rock formations jutting out from the water and skim stones from rocky outcrops. Admire the sparkling blue-green hues of the water as the waves lap the beach.

Siho Playa is on the central northern coast of the Campeche state in the southeastern region of Mexico. Rent a car in the state’s namesake city and drive south for 23 miles (37 kilometers) to get here in about 30 minutes. Pass the picturesque and quaint beach town of Seybaplaya on the way. Consider a trip to the nearby Edzná archaeological ruins.
