Cottage Oceanfront w / Dock y Amarre - distancia a pie de Acadia

En una ubicación privilegiada en la isla Mount Desert Maine, esta propiedad ha sido cuidadosamente atendidos y disfrutado por la misma familia durante cuatro generaciones. La cabaña fue diseñada y construida en 2003-2004 por nuestro padre, Caleb, para aprovechar al máximo de este lugar ideal que tiene acceso directo al agua, muelle, amarre y magníficas vistas al puerto.

Cerca del final de un camino privado en Connor Point, sentirás la tranquilidad de una verdadera escapada. A pocos pasos de senderismo en el Parque Nacional Acadia, y sin embargo, están a sólo 5 minutos en coche de la encantadora ciudad de Southwest Harbor ya 25 minutos de la bulliciosa ciudad y la diversión de Bar Harbor. Siente la vida despacio mientras disfruta de su café de la mañana en la terraza con vistas al mar y decidir si se hará una excursión, vela, natación, kayak o tienda. Actividades del área: Caminata a pocos minutos de rutas de senderismo o en coche (o tomar un autobús gratuito) alrededor del Monte Postre isla donde se puede parar para subir montañas, nadar en lagos, ver la costa rocosa, o visite el agujero del trueno. Usted puede ir de excursión (o en coche) hasta la montaña Cadillac, la más alta montaña en el Parque Nacional Acadia, que es una de las decenas de montañas para escalar. Desde aquí se puede mirar hacia abajo a Bar Harbor y las Islas del puerco espín, las Islas del arándano, y gran parte de Mt. Isla desierta

Everything was in perfect order, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The area is beautiful and close to Acadia with a trail within walking distance. The harbor, restaurants and shops are 10 minutes from the house. Ben (the host) directions to the house, and recommendations to all activities were excellent. I would love to stay again if I'm ever in this area of Maine.

A perfect getaway

Peaceful and Perfect GetawayWe had a wonderful stay at Caleb’s Cottage in Southwest Harbor. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing week. It was the perfect place to come back to after long days of hiking and biking in Acadia.We enjoyed cooking big breakfasts, packing lunches for the trail, and spending quiet evenings playing games or relaxing by the dock. Watching the jellyfish drift by in the peaceful harbor was an unexpected highlight.Ben was a great host, and we’d happily recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet retreat with easy access to outdoor adventures.

Beautiful and Relaxing

I absolutely loved our stay at Caleb’s Cottage! The location was perfect for our trip. The house and surrounding area were beautiful. I loved sitting on the porch relaxing as the sun went down. Water pressure was fantastic and the showers were nice and hot. The host was super responsive. I would highly recommend this place!

Beautiful location, beautiful cottage

This was our first visit to Caleb's Cottage and we were so thrilled to pull up and see the house we had hoped for was really ours for a few days! The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was well furnished as was the laundry room. Sitting on the porch with a mug of coffee was the best! So close to Acadia- some trails within walking distance. We love to come back.

Great Stay

Our family really enjoyed staying at Caleb's Cottage. It was comfortable, spacious, and had all the comforts of home. The view from the lovely front porch is beautiful and we loved drinking our coffee in the morning and gathering there to relax after our day exploring Acadia National Park. As seniors we were able to walk from the cottage to "Flying Mountain" where we hiked to the top and back. This property is only about a 20-minute drive to Bar Harbor and other scenic spots in Acadia National Park. We had a great stay!

Wonderful Week in Southwest Harbor

This was our 2nd time visiting Caleb's Cottage and the 2nd time that our family loved out stay. Our sons *(7 & 2) loved having access to the water using the dock and kayak's that we had rented. The house is very comfortable and has allowed our family to create wonderful memories. Being so close to Flying Mountain, the Causeway Club and the new Mini Golf course made the week even better.

Third Visit to Caleb's Cottage

This is our 3rd time staying here. Our family loves it! Looking out at the cove is so beautiful and peaceful. We hike, we rent a kayak for the week, we go to Echo Lake, we enjoy dinner at the Little Fern restaurant at the Clairmont Hotel. We played 9 holes of golf this year at the club down the street. Lots of hiking within walking distance from the cottage. The cottage is very clean and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The pictures are exactly how the cottage looks - beautiful. Ben is great and responsive.

Wonderful place for a getaway

Everything was great. Such a warm and homey feel. The only downside is the front steps are very slippery in the morning. Warn others to be careful as I slipped and fell down the steps

The perfect place

This was our first time to Maine and Acadia, it is difficult to select lodging on line. We were very pleased. The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything that we needed. We were also pleased that the location was near so many of the attractions we wanted to see, but far enough away that it was peaceful and relaxing when we returned to the house. I will definitely miss drinking my morning tea on that beautiful porch watching the birds and seals in the bay. We definitely plan on returning.

Amazing

This is the 2nd time we stayed at Caleb's Cottage. The 1st time was last fall for a few days. This time we stayed for a week with family. The week was so wonderful that we plan to return next June. The cottage is lovely and has everything you need. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen of any rental I have booked in the past. The view is amazing and just like the pictures online. It is a very peaceful area. We rented a double kayak for the week which I would highly recommend. Ben is wonderful to work with. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us again.

Lovely Vacation

We had a lovely time staying at this quiet, clean, spacious cabin. We spent time looking for shells, enjoyed the beautiful sky, and it was easy to get around on the island from this location. It was also the most well stocked rental I've ever stayed at!
