“I was attending a doggy event in the area and the location was excellent, just minutes away from the venue, so no need to get up so early to get ready. Was very dog friendly. Lots of room to let dogs run, but need to watch out for the ducks and Guinea hens, no fenced yard so dogs need to have good recall if running off leash. “Check in went smoothly and the rooms were very clean. Needs and pillows were fantastic and I slept great. Breakfast is the star of the show though. Full breakfast, including the olbligatory waffle maker, went down both sides of the room so there was little to no waiting. The food was hot and fresh and replenished as needed. All staff from check-in to breakfast staff to room service were really great. I would recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again. ”

“The property owner contacted me a day ahead of time. That was great to clear up any last minute questions. He was very thorough to make sure he answered any additional questions. The lodging was a180 year old home which was beautiful and clean. But that's not to say it was perfect. It still showed it's age.
