Loved the new kitchen appliances. Master bed very comfortable. Liked the tv’s. Kitchen chairs very uncomfortable as was the couch. Loved the fact they had a closet full of beach stuff for us to use ( even though it rained the entire time and we didn’t use them). The parking lot got very flooded.

Location is great and some comments
The location is amazing as we could see a piece of the ocean. The apartment was very clean and sparsely decorated which we liked. Kitchen cabinets will need replacement soon as they are flimsy. The coach in the living room had dirty spots. It might need a cover that is easily washed after every visit...I think. The second bedroom for kids did not have any storage or shelves to store their clothes. It was also a bit depressing with the boarded window. It might need a mirror or some simple art to cover it up. loose the fake flowers. Also, the whole building needs to think about replacing disgusting carpet in the common hallway with something durable and easy to clean. Thank you.

Great clean location with scarce supplies
Location was great and clean. Beach access was great and check-in was easy. Beach chairs and umbrellas as well as toys included. Otherwise rental itself is no frills. Very very thin toilet paper and clean but thin small towels. No tissues provided and only one roll of paper towels. Minimal soap and trash bags as well. We used the kitchen each day and when we requested more supplies we were told we needed to provide our own. Not a dealbreaker for future rentals but something to be prepared for. Lots of dishes but not necessarily all the supplies needed for meal prep (no spatulas in space or sharp knives for cutting melons). Still the pool and hot tubs of the complex were great and gate guards were friendly and helpful.

Great location, needs a deep cleaning
I’ll start with the Pros: super close location to the beach. This unit offers beds for up to 6 people (although the trundle bed in the 2nd room was hard to get out and the mattress appeared dirty). Cons: Overall, we were highly disappointed with this unit. Our first (and lasting) impression was that it is in need of a DEEP cleaning. After driving for 16 straight hours, we arrived late on Easter Sunday to a unit that featured dirty floors (especially under the beds, with noticeable dust and hair balls), walls that had stains on them (hallway, bedroom & bathroom walls), and features shown in the listing photos that did not exist in reality (area rugs, clean furniture, etc.). We spent the first half hour of our arrival cleaning & went out to buy a broom and dust pan. On Day 2, we discovered the towels smelled awful. I called the rental agency to complain. At this point I was disappointed not only by smelly towels (smoke smell) but the fact the unit was dirty. They said they would deliver clean towels the following day (which they did, although those also had an odor and they were left in a trash bag outside the unit). The woman I spoke with offered to have a cleaning company come to the unit to clean, but at that point we were unpacked and settled. We would’ve had to pack everything up and leave to allow that. I said I just wanted the agency to be aware that the unit was in need of a deep cleaning. Advice: Book a different unit managed by a different agency!

Good location and convenient to beach.
This condo was great in that it was so close to the beach. The pools were easily accessible too. Easy drive into St. Augustine. The building itself is old. Quite old, and it feels dirty outside the condo. The condo itself was clean, but old. All updated though and that helped! Good washer and dryer and beds were comfy. Some outlets didn’t work. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Even gave us beach supplies, which was so convenient. Kudos to the owners for updating the condo so well! We had a great stay!

Great stay!
This place was perfect. It's neat, quiet, and comfortable. Perfect location, just a 3 minute walk to the beach, through private gate access. They even have beach supplies in the room you can take down to the beach like umbrellas, chairs, and games. Will definitely be staying again.

rental management company / poor communication
VRBO uses Beach Trip Vacation Rentals for this property, and it is with this management company we had difficulties, not the property itself. We arrived at the property around 9 pm and had difficulty accessing. Texted and called the contacts we had for Beach Trip Vacation Rentals, including the 'emergency' number, and did not hear back for 1 1/2 hours. VRBO also could not assist. By this time had gone to a hotel. Next day management company insisted they had sent an email with access instructions, and in retrospect they had, about 2 weeks previously- however the sender of the email was a personal name, not anything that appeared to be associated with Beach Vacation Rental, and it had gone to our spam box. When asked if consideration could be made for a night credit considering we had to stay in a hotel, they stated this was 'not possible'. Keys for the property are about 3 miles from the property and inconveniently have to be picked up and dropped off there. Requirements for checking out are more than we have ever experienced at any other VRBO, doing a fair amount of what the cleaning crew traditionally does (such as empty all the trash right before you leave and take to the dumpster which is more than walking-distance away, so you have to drive the trash there). Although the property was fine, I would not stay again specifically to avoid dealing with the renal management company.

My wife and I stayed for a short getaway, to enjoy the beach, and also historic St Augustine. This condo supplies the beach access, and it's a very easy and convenient drive into the historic downtown. We liked the full kitchen, the patio, living room, and plenty of space.
