"A family wedding was planned at Grand View Lodge. Everything was perfect. Lovely room, good food and the chapel was beautiful. The Heritage Room for reception was light due to windows in the ceiling. All in all it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend it."

The deck off our cabin was wonderful to sit on anytime of day, the spaciousness of our cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Our kids all had their own room. "Shady Hollow deserves an easy 5 star rating. My husband and I stayed with our 5 children aged 1-8, and it was perfect. We all enjoyed the beach, beautiful lake view, swimming, paddle boards, fishing, pedal boat and kayaks, which was included in the cost. The lake was shallow enough for our kids to play safely and there were plenty of toys on the beach for them to use and build sand castles. "We stayed 2 nights off-season so didn't really use the beach area - it looked nice. It was pleasant sitting by the lake - no bugs. The kitchen was adequately supplied and the table and chairs were perfect for the 4 of us. The beds were OK."
