“Lovely location in the heart of the forest. The cabin was equipped with everything you might need. Very nice variety of children's books/movies/games/outdoor toys, well beyond what we imagined. The children absolutely loved the place and the long swings outside. The cabin was clean, pleasant, and cozy. We had a great time and would love to be back.”

“Good location near Munising and several attractions. The property was clean and had plenty of bedding and towels. We used both the grill and fireplace, which was great! The only downsides were that the beds were very squeaky, so not good for light sleepers, and the beach isn’t really one you would swim in due to the algae and muck - still enjoyed sitting lakeside tho! We also had our dog, and it was great to find a place that was pet friendly.”

“We loved our stay in Christmas (6 mins away from the center of Munising). Although the weather didn’t cooperate for all the activities we had planned we loved the property. The walk out to the beach was beautiful and the fall colors were popping.”

“Very convenient 2 bathrooms. Good price. I wish it was a little cleaner. Nice to be right on the river. Great spot between Munising and Marquette. Furniture was very dated. That being said, if I knew the sheets were clean I’d stay again. Cory is easy to communicate with.”

“This was exactly the stay that we needed. It allowed us to get away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life. The water was beautiful and the drive attractions was a short distance given the remoteness of the cottage. I wish the dock would have been up but regardless it was a great experience and would highly recommend.”

“This property is secluded in the woods but a short quick drive to Munising. This was within an hour or 2 of all the places we wanted to visit like Mackinac Island, Paradise, Whitefish Point & more. The neighbors & dog were really nice and came over to warn us that a mama bear & cub were spotted across the street from us and to be aware and not to leave food in car or outside. This house is bigger & nicer than the pictures show. Large master, 2 bedrooms upstars with full beds, loft with futon and...

“We enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking could be a bit challenging. We preferred this accommodation for privacy and the ability to relax and make coffee and eat breakfast in the cabin. The only misunderstanding was the cleaning fee having to be handled over the phone because there is NO OFFICE at the location and the phone number was with a person at another hotel, who was managing the fee. ”

“The cabin was very charming, nicely decorated and very clean. The neighboring cabins were kind of close and a few cabins down, they ran chain saws all day. I enjoyed watching the loons, eagles and a baby otter on the lake. Hope the little guy survives the eagles. All is all, a very nice week.”
