The housekeeping staff were so, so nice and showed us some different options for the next time, because there will be a next time! All of the little special items really make a difference. “We loved our right-next-to-the-water one night stay in The Nantucket. The sliding doors in both the living room and the bedroom are about 5 feet from the water. We loved watching the sun rise over the bay and having breakfast on the porch. The bed was comfortable - felt like memory foam. My five year old slept on the pull out couch (I would not want to sleep on that, but she was fine!) This place is such a tranquil beautiful waterside bungalow. It would be nicer if it was a tiny bit closer to...

“Great spot plenty of space in the house for everyone. Nice kitchen and livingroom obviously the salt water pool was great. We spent out nights near the fire pit and gazed at the stars. They really shine bright with no light pollution around here. Recommend having your monitoring coffee near the river access for a relaxing start to your day.”

“I absolutely loved this spot. I had such a great time and I actually miss it! I especially love the trails behind the inn. I had no idea that it was Pequot territory. It is really marvelous. Great to walk on. Not too hard, not too easy, tons of history, and a real sense of the sacred nature of Lantern Hill. I highly recommend.”

Spotlessly clean, beautifully restored historical property right in the heart of a neighborhood and in walking distance to downtown.
