“The lake cottage has a welcoming feel. The living room has a gas fireplace and comfortable couches and a beautiful view out the sliding glass door to the lake. The eating area is comfortable and the kitchen very user-friendly. We had a small dog who was quite at home. The house was so clean and there were welcoming touches throughout-- snacks, coffee, essentials toiletries, filtered water in fridge. We had a lovely two-night stay but could have easily stayed longer. The stairs to the bedrooms...

“Everything was as described and clean. The only negative-if you can call this a negative- is that there was no stash of plastic wrap or foil to wrap leftovers and no salt and pepper. Every place we have rented on VRBO had these. ”

We walked Watkins Glen gorge trail and visited several wineries. Our favorite restaurant was Kinderd Fare in Geneva. After a full day of exploring we enjoyed some time around the fire pit.
