"We had such a great stay at this property. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and it rained the whole time we were visiting. At the end of a long day of sight-seeing it was so nice to come home to a cozy spot. Everything about the listing is spot on, so many little comforts provided by the hosts - coffee pods, linens, towels, welcome bottle of local sparkling water. Can't wait to return when it's not raining cats and dogs."

"This cabin was actually even better than expected. There was a stream my grandchildren just loved to play around. There was plenty of room when the family came to visit & it was private! The only drawback(s) were that I never found a can opener and the sauce pans were few/skimpy."

"We had a lovely time at Hemlock Haven! We spent several days mining for Herkimer diamonds and the cabin was an excellent place to relax after spending the day outside. It is fairly quiet, cozy, and pretty easy to drive to. The hosts had a few extra touches to make it even more welcoming. Definitely recommend for a little R&R!!"

"Wonderful stay! Units were very clean and well equipped. Owners went above and beyond to think of everything. Made us all feel very welcome. The younger ones were never bored. As noted by the owners, the road to cross to get to the lake can get busy and cars are going fast so kids should be supervised. All the locals were super friendly and didn't seem to mind our large group. We rented all the units which gave room to spread out. Loved it and would love to come back! Sarah and TJ are 5 star. JD"

"House is in a nice location. The pictures were photoshopped on the listing to make the wood appear to be a more modern wood tone than it actually is. Not a huge deal but definitely something I noticed upon arrival. The bath towels provided by the house were bleach stained. No AC in bedrooms. Plant overgrowth on back deck. Ice maker doesnt work in freezer. Minor issues that could be addressed to provide a nicer experience for guests. Overall the house was not bad and we had a nice stay, but not 5...

"Great house and property. It could not have been easier and the area is so peaceful. Close to Saratoga and an easy drive north to Lake Placid. The property manager communication was excellent and the house is outstanding. Highly recommend"
