Lovely little place mom and pop owned. We had a host cancel on us after we had landed in Venice and had no where to stay. The sweet lady said to come to them after we had multiple places trying to charge us 400+ for a night because it was last minute. Super cozy hotel with a vintage vibe to it. Super clean, great staff. Did not get to try the breakfast but I’m sure it is great. Will be back!
Location was great, one street away from bus number 6 heading to Venice. Contactless payment on the bus option. Also a great ice cream shop at the top of street too.
The hotel staff were lovely. They hold onto your key whilst you are out.
Breakfast consisted of ready made croissants with ham/cheese, bread for toast, different flavour croissants, boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, juice, cakes, coffee and tea (english breakfast too).
Room was spacious and sachets of soap/shampoo provided in the room with towels.
The reason for 4 stars was due to not being able to turn the heating on in between and it would be lovely to have a fridge in the room.
Would recommend the hotel, it was a lovely stay.
Old fashioned hotel with small but tasty breakfast menu, free parking on premises and immaculate clean bedrooms with balcony. They also provide you with tourist passes for the duration of stay for visiting Venice.
Only steps away from a bus stop(Parmesan) which will take you away straight to Venice for €3 round trip
NOTE : They lock the main entrance and gate to parking after 10pm and you'll have to buzz them to enter the premises (information should be given on arrival)
We have now stayed here 3 times. It’s a lovely hotel, not too big. Always, clean, quiet rooms with comfy beds and fresh towels and tidied room each day. Breakfast staff are very friendly. It’s your classic: bread, pastries, yogurts, fresh fruit, cakes, ham and cheese toasted pannis, walnuts, jams, cereal, boiled eggs to order and a toaster, with jam. Fresh coffee is offered, fruit juices and milk. Number 6 or 6l bus takes you into Venice around the corner. There is an amazing ice cream parlour at the top of the road and a great Italian restaurant a walk away called Al Calesse. To round up: it’s a great hotel, would highly recommend.
Was the perfect spot to stay with easy access to public transportation. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very perfect. Definitely would stay again!
Friendly personal, familiary athmosphere, parking directly at the hotel, silent area around the hotel, directly connection via bus to venice, room and bath were clean
Great location - the bus stop to Venice is just around the corner. Reception is friendly and informative. Breakfast was very good with a variety of options. Would stay here again! Grazie :)
The staffs worked in front desk and breakfast restaurant are very friendly. They also offered us hot water whenever we had special request for it. Very convenient place to travel to Venice 2 minutes walking to a bus stop.
We just stayed for 1 day and the staff was helpful shared all necessary info and break fast was good with nice spread. Didn’t find many dining options around
I was very impressed with the variety of choices for breakfast. The woman who helped with the service was very friendly and helpful. The man who checked me in helped me with a predicament that I was in and mailed a package for me. All was clean and well maintained. My only complaint is the pillows were hard.
Hotel Roma is a charming traditional hotel conveniently located for day trips into Venice. It was very clean and well kept. There isn't much in the surrounding area to do, but the hotel offer tickets for nearby transport options.
We had a lovely stay. The staff was really helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The location wasn’t the greatest (not the best place to walk around), but we chose this place to save some money and it was worth it. We had an excellent meal at a local restaurant close by. We would recommend this place to people visiting Venice. It was an easy bus ride into Venice.
Amazing experience at the hotel! Staff were very friendly and helpful, we felt safe in this hotel as they lock the door at night. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Feels like home to stay here. The location is not walkable to the train station but there are buses nearby that go straight to Venice. Overall, amazed by the hotel and the great value.
Loved the stay here at Hotel Roma, the room was very clean and the breakfast was to die for (loved the fact they gave us a whole jug when we asked for latte) If you’re coming to Venice dont bother going to the island and stay a bit on the outskirts. The bust stop is 5 mins away and youre in Venice in 15mins. 100% would recommend, thanks a lot to the staff for making it an enjoyable stay!

It’s a small hotel with a colonial style . It has everything you need for a short stay . It offers breakfast and public transportation is available few minutes from it. The public bus takes you directly to Venice. The staff were very friendly (Ramiro and Stephania) and very helpful when asking for directions and places to eat . They gave us the opportunity to buy the bus tickets at the hotel for Venice and when leaving to the train station .
The property was close to public transportation and the receptionist "Robert" was great. He explained in detail how to travel to Venice by city bus and how to get around by city boat. The breakfast was great, boiled eggs, breads, yogurt, fruits, cereal, juice, coffee etc.
There was also a laundry mat right across the street. That was great as we were on our 2nd week of travel.
Local restaurant "il Giardinetto" and "Gigi" were casual and great as well as Marciano's pub.
Overall, this was our favorite city and stay.
