“We had a fabulous night's stay at the West Bay Hotel. We stayed in their suite which could accommodate 3 of us, a wonderful room looking over the beach. Breakfast the next morning was really wonderful, as was dinner the night before. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again and next time will bring our dog. Thanks for looking after us do well!”

“We had a 2 night stay. Craig was chatty, but failed to point out a few things at breakfast on the first morning which proved a little irritating. The pool is only available for guests on certain hours, for example 6-10pm only. Also, rooms are not serviced unless you actually ask for them to be. This information was on the noticeboard but this was not pointed out, so we didn't see it. Otherwise, a nice stay, a good breakfast. Oh, and very light coloured curtains so expect to be woken early.”

“It has no restuarant or bar meals and nearest pub/eatery is miles away. Rooms are clean and recently painted but otherwise tired. Plumbing is a bit suspect.”

Bridget, Bas and all the other staff we met were charming, friendly and accommodating, including agreeing to bring forward our stay at almost no notice even though we had a fixed, non-refundable booking through hotels.com. This enabled us to visit just before coronavirus restrictions came into place and we had the place to ourselves most of the time. The cooked breakfast was very good. “the one downstairs bedroom had no view which was sad, but no stairs, which was good! The TV was faulty and was fixed the next day, but then stopped working again. The breakfasts were amazing. The public car park was up a steep hill and pricey. The hotel had no out-side space, but the beautiful public gardens were very close”

“Our stay was amazing. Judith , Julian and family were above and beyond. Our Grandsons had a wonderful time on the farm 🚜 we had a tour, bringing the cows in from the field , to watching them being milked, then to feed two new baby calves , and to end it with a tractor 🚜 ride 😀. The accommodation is very clean, and the boys loved living upside down lol 😆. The countryside is beyond words, stunning . I would recommend this 100% we shall definitely go again. Thankyou”
