“I was traveling from Iowa to Ohio and needed a place for a short sleep. I rolled in around 11:30. They switched me to a larger room so that I could have a non-smoking room. Room was clean, bed was older but was able sleep well. Left early the next morning so I didn’t see much of the area. ”

“Greeted upon arrival and given tour and history of property. Short time later provided cheese tray and choice of wine on screened in porch with the other guests, followed by fresh baked cookies. Very enjoyable. Short walk to the downtown area for all the dining and shopping areas, great location. Room was very clean and in good condition. Slept very well on the bed. We will stay here again on another Galena visit. ”

“The fall leaves bursting with red and yellow glowing against the clear blue sky - our stay in the Little Red Cabin was a perfect retreat. Close enough to the small town of Lena to be useful but far enough away to be secluded. Explore Lake Le-Aqua-na only 3 minutes away. The turkeys were a surprise!We will definately be back.”

“This is a great location! Easy to get to downtown Galena in a few minutes. Country place without being too secluded. Very quiet neighbors. Residents were very cheerful and welcoming. Nice to have beautiful views and only a short drive to downtown Galena or Dubuque where there is more to do if you have kids staying or for a movie or dinner. Club where the pool is located is a very nice place. I would stay and this location again!”

“This little A Frame house made for a wonderful, cozy stay for my husband and I on our second honeymoon! The online pictures didn't do this classy house justice! It was very clean, in a quiet neighborhood, good size lot, had everything we could need. Hope to stay here again!”

“This perfect place complemented a perfect trip. We had 4 adults and 1 child - so had some bed sharing, however, it was all very comfortable, due to the spacious floor plan and two bathrooms. Everything was as advertised - and better. Truly a beautiful home in a fabulous location. Thank you for hosting and making it so easy!”
