“Perfect location between Ontonagan and the porcupine mtns. It was the perfect place to relax after hiking all day or visiting town. We also had a great time looking for yooperlites, unfortunatley we didnt find any but there is always next time!”

“Well located in Town. The water heater needs to be inspected.”

“The toilet and shower weren’t clean upon arrival, which makes me doubt the extent of the cleaning throughout the house. Not an ideal concern to have for a property.”

Neighborhood is quite and felt safe even though it’s older. House is close to the porcupine mountains park and lots of deer everywhere! Will stay here again in the summer! “The Copper House in Wakefield was just what we expected. It was cozy and perfect for our girls trip. We explored the area including the Porcupine Mountains. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the fireplace was a bonus. We will stay here again when in the area.”

“We had a great time! The house was lovely! We’d have loved some more storage (there weren’t any hangers or shelves/dressers. We also would have loved a pantry space to put our food for the week. That said, we loved it so much we already booked for next year! The location and layout of the property and house were just too awesome! Can’t wait for next year!!”

“Everything was pretty much as presented in the description. The owner kept in communication with me, asking if I needed anything. It’s an older home, but she has kept it up and it had everything you needed. We went there to snowmobile, unfortunately for the first time in decades, there was no snow. The only issue is the location is on the highway, and even though it is in town, log trucks rolled through all night, if you’re a light sleeper it could be a problem. All being said, we’ll try again...

“The house was clean and all the cupboards and drawers were marked so we could find kitchen utensils. There was also plenty of things that made our trip more convenient like coffee filters and syrups, spices for cooking, ketchup, mustard, butter and things like that.”
