"What a wonderful home! This house was huge! There were plenty of rooms for our family, but 3 of my relatives did not make it.The first floor had a bedroom right near the main floor bathroom which was perfect for my 82 year old parents.My husband and I stayed in the upstairs master suite.We were there for Friday and Saturday night.My daughter's wedding was in Union which was a short 15 minute drive.Unfortunately with all the prep at the wedding venue, we were hardly at the house at all.We absolutely loved the huge kitchen and the dining table would have been great for all the games that were stacked by the wood stove.The communication with host Heather was wonderful, and she was very accommodating for an early check in, but we didn't need it as we went straight to the wedding venue to set up.My husband took a walk down to the dock to check it out in the morning.We will definitely keep this property in mind for a family week long vacation in the future.I would definitely recommend staying at this property."

"We had a great stay. UCONN campus is very impressive! My only complaint is, when checking in we were instructed where to park. It wasn’t until we checked out and I saw a tiny sign hidden behind the card processor, that I realized they charge $9 per night for parking. I brought it to the attention of the clerk that not only weren’t we informed at check in about the fee, but that the sign should be larger and placed where patrons can actually see it!!! "
