Zanzibar Spice Nest Deluxe Apartment

Zanzibar Spice Nest Apartment is a beautifully decorated big and spacious two bedroom apartment right in the heart of UNESCO heritage Stone Town area. The apartment has been furnished and decorated using modern and local Swahili culture traditional handicrafts. As you enter the apartment, the long and wide entrance leads you to locally sourced handmade wooden stairs which leads you to the long and spacious lounge living room with comfortable seating area. The living room has a smart TV with a selection of channels including Netflix. There is a turntable with a small selection of vinyls. Each room is private and spacious enough with it’s own bathroom and toilet. Adjacent to the living lounge area is the dining room and next to it is the kitchen which comes fully equipped with all facilities needed to prepare any necessary meals. The entire apartment has been well renovated and restored, preserving the original Swahili/Arab features including the locally sourced mikoko wooden beams.
Zanzibar Spice Nest Apartment offers more than just an ordinary place to stay. It is a home away from home right in the heart of popular and famous Stone Town area, where all amenities like, shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, curio shops, local eateries, street food stalls, markets, pharmacies, Forodhani night street food market and the beautiful turquoise beaches are only a short walk away from the apartment.

Good place to explore stone town

This is a rustic property (and I mean that in a good way). If you want the authentic stone town experience, this is it. However, the WiFi isn’t the best. It’s due to the home being on the second floor and the literal stones of stone town prevent the network from connecting properly. If you’rea digital nomad like me, keep this in mind. But the master bedroom with the private bathroom is very nice and the location puts you close to everything you will want to see and experience in stone town. And Wahida and Masoud are great hosts.
