"This was a wonderful property and well appointed. Very spacious and part of a nice, private club in the foothills of western NC. The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. No complaints other than the one day of rain we had. I will say that this property is fairly remote. Hendersonville is a good 30-35 minute drive and Saluda is about 20 minutes so anytime you want to dine out, it's a bit of a long trip, especially when you are driving dark, windy mountain roads. "Overall it was a great place to stay for our visit of Lake Lure and Asheville. The unit is very nice and a great layout. We were disappointed the unit lacked a number of essentials including paper towels, dish towels, limited utensils and fire wood for the outside fire place. With that being said we would stay there again."

"Only glitch was that hot water not working, but maintenance came over right away and fixed it. Suggest walk through before guests arrive to make sure everything is working properly. Never able to get outdoor fireplace working. The inconveniences were made up by Cathy taking care of our lunch in the dining facilities which was very nice. :)"

"We had a wonderful stay at this whimsical little getaway! It was very cute and well stocked. Our kids really loved the little rock slide in the creek, the hot tub, and the place had great toys and books out for our use. Chimney Rock and Lake Lure are less than 15 minutes away!
