Career History

Eldredge was born on March 23, 1986 in Paris, Illinois. His cousin, Terry Eldredge, is a member of the The Grascals, a six-piece bluegrass band founded in 2004. Eldredge had his first crack in the industry when he co-wrote Gary Allan's "I Think I've Had Enough". His debut single, "Raymond", peaked at No. 23 on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Eldredge was soon asked to perform at the Grand Ole Opry later that year, an honorable accomplishment for a country singer. In 2012, "Don't Ya" reached the top 20 of the Hot Country Songs chart, making it his first single to do so. Three singles on Eldredge’s second studio album, Illinois, topped the Country Airplay Chart in 2015 and 2016. He saw a huge uptick in fans when he opened for Taylor Swift’s well-received Red Tour. On Memorial Day 2015, baseball fans were in for a nice surprise when Eldredge came out to sing “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” during the seventh Inning Stretch at a Chicago Cubs vs. Washington Nationals game at Wrigley Field. 2016 was a huge year for the industry with the release of “Forever Country”, a song made to commemorate 50 years of the CMA Awards. Brett Eldredge was one of the thirty artists featured on the mashup. Later that year, he released his first Christmas album titled Glow. He has earned a handful of awards, including the New Artist of the Year at the CMA Awards in 2014 and Song of the Year at the BMI Country Awards in 2015 for “Beat of the Music”.
