The Peach Bowl is an annual college football bowl game that is played in Atlanta, GA at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Peach Bowl was created in 1968 and was originally played at Grant Field on the campus of Georgia Tech. Since 2014, the Peach Bowl has been part of the New Year's Day Six and has become a host of the College Football Playoffs.

Seven of the first ten meetings featured an Atlantic Coast Conference team against an at-large team. The bowl had no official automatic births like other bowl games had. It usually featured an ACC team against a Southeastern Conference team, as was the case from 1993 till 2013. The Peach Bowl was the first ever charity bowl, and was created by Lions Club member George Pierre Crumbley, Jr. The game was originally organized as a fundraiser for the Lions Club but was later taken over by the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. UCF defeating
Auburn The victory resulted in UCF being the only undefeated team for the season and was able to claim a share of the National Championship. The Peach Bowl has donated more than $32 million to charity since 2016.
Clemson leads the way with eight appearances all-time. They've only won it three times. Tied for second is NC State and LSU whose won it six times
The SEC has been to the Peach Bowl a total of 38 times, winning it 21, while the ACC has been a total of 37 and only winning it 15 of those times.
