The home of the Los Angeles Dodgers since its opening in 1962, Dodger Stadium is the third-oldest park in Major League Baseball, behind only Fenway Park and Wrigley Field. Set between the mountains in Chavez Ravine, the stands hold up to 56,000 fans and have been reliably filling up for half a century. The famous SoCal climate has led to some of the fewest rainouts in baseball, clearing the way for some great games under the California sun.
This is one of the last baseball-only stadiums to be built, with a modernist West Coast flair that extends from the wavy roofs above the outfield pavillions to the terraced parking lot. With a reputation as a pitchers’ park, the stadium has hosted 12 no-hitters and seen players like Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, and Fernando Valenzuela become legends on the mound.
