With a rich tradition of student athletics, the Duke Blue Devils have been a fixture of the Atlantic Coast Conference since 1953 and can boast a formidable record. From basketball to lacrosse, Blue Devils games have been drawing fans to Duke’s arenas and fields in Durham, North Carolina to see some of the best sports on the East Coast.
The Blue Devils have brought home 16 NCAA national championships and more than 100 championships in the AAC. The women’s golf team have been the school’s best scorers, winning 6 national titles and dominating the conference for 13 straight years, but the men’s basketball team, with their 5 championships and 16 Final Fours, aren’t far behind. Men’s lacrosse, men’s soccer, and women’s tennis have all claimed their own titles, making Duke’s athletics a formidable force.
