Set in the Hollywood Hills with the iconic Hollywood Sign in the distance, the Hollywood Bowl is a legendary music venue with history dating back to the 1920s. The outdoor amphitheater, which takes its name from the shape of the hillside that the venue is carved into, can seat more than 17,000 people, making it the largest outdoor amphitheater in the United States. The venue hosts the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, the summer concert series performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and hundreds of other musical events around the year. Hollywood Bowl History & Performances
