The rivalry between LSU and Ole Miss dates back to 1894 when the two first met. The matchup is named after the magnolia flower, which happens to be the state flower for both Louisiana and Mississippi.
SEC pride and prestige is on the line whenever LSU takes on the Auburn Tigers in the Tiger Bowl. The rivalry dates back to 1901, with the two sides playing over 50 times. LSU leads the series 31-24-1.
