Armando Pérez—better known by his stage name Pitbull—is considered by many to be one of the most energizing rappers currently working in music today. Though he had gained popularity in the Latin music scene with 5 studio albums between 2004 and 2010, he didn’t achieve international fame until a collaboration with Jennifer Lopez on her 2011 single “On the Floor.” That same year, he released his most successful album to date, Planet Pit, off of which the track “Give Me Everything” became his very first number 1 single in the United States. He reached an even higher level of fame the following years as he worked with superstars like Christina Aguilera, Jason Derulo, and Shakira. His infectious 2013 dance hit “Timber” featuring Ke$ha flew to the top of the charts in 18 countries, turning him into a household name. Today, fans of the rapper can’t wait to get tickets to see him perform live, as they know he also puts on an electrifying show.
Pitbull became interested in music at a very early age and was largely influenced by the Miami bass genre of pop music. After graduating high school, he put his focus into beginning a music career in Miami, where he later met rapper and producer Lil Jon. Pitbull’s first mainstream performance was on a track from Lil Jon’s 2002 album, Kings of Crunk, and the duo went on to produce countless more songs together. Since then, Pitbull has released 10 studio albums, most recently 2017’s Climate Change, and toured both solo and with the likes of Enrique Iglesias, Ke$ha, and Robin Thicke. In 2018, you can see Pitbull live as he wraps up his epic 3-year-long Time of Our Lives Tour. Grab tickets to see the star in cities such as Las Vegas and Niagara Falls, or as a headliner at the 2018 MiamiBash or the Sunfest in West Palm Beach, Florida.Back to top
