Beginning in 1933, the "Christmas Spectacular" was and still is, a lavish live stage show. The show has become an iconic New York City Christmas tradition, with the star of the show being the female dance troupe, the Rockettes." Throughout the years, some elements of the show have changed, but two scenes have continued to be in every edition; the Rockettes performance of "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers," and "The Living Nativity. Combining singing, dancing, and humor with traditional scenes, this holiday classic combined with an original score will leave young and old wildy entertained.The Rockettes have been performing at Radio City Music Hall since 1932. They are best known for their stellar dance numbers and choreography.
