Las Vegas Bowl Ticket Information

The Las Vegas Bowl is an annual college football bowl game that is played in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium

Las Vegas Bowl History

The Las Vegas Bowl was the replacement for the California Bowl, thus it inherited the bowl tie-in's with the winners of the Big West Conference and Mid-American Conference. That remained the case until 1996, after which point the winner of the Big West received a berth to the Humanitarian Bowl while the MAC received a birth to the Motor City Bowl. From 2001 until 2005 the runner-up in the Mountain West would place a team from the Pac-12. To add to the profile of the game and its relocation to Allegiant Stadium, the Las Vegas Bowl announced it would alternate tie-in's between the SEC and Big Ten. The 2007 Las Vegas Bowl featured a match between BYU and UCLA that ended with BYU winning on a partially blocked field goal. This was BYU's second Las Vegas Bowl victory in three attempts.

BYU leads all-time in Las Vegas Bowl appearances with six, followed by Boise State and Utah who each have five and have won four of those games.
